Precise Authoring Services requires that all freelance writers who accept work and projects as a member of our team adhere to the following terms and conditions. These terms are to ensure that all writers have realistic expectations and that our clients, who are a priority, are satisfied with the projects we deliver. A satisfied client will contract for more work, and thereby increase the opportunities for additional writing assignments for our writing team.
Original Works
All submitted compositions must be 100% original copy, free from any plagiarism. All submissions are verified via CopyScape and DupeFreePro for originality. Submissions containing plagiarized content will be rejected and author will not receive payment for them.Plagiarism can result in a writer being removed from the writing team.
Client Specifications
Client's specifications for each project must be strictly followed. Items such as keyword saturation percentages, topic(s), any format specifications, word counts and other client requests will be outlined in the assignment. Failure to adhere to the client's specifications will result in rejection of the submission. Rejected submissions will not be compensated.
Grammar
All submitted copy must be 100% grammatically correct English. All text must be spell checked prior to submission. Punctuation errors are unacceptable.
Delivery
All assignments must be submitted by due date outlined in the project specifications. Writers must inform P.A.S. immediately of any inability to meet the required timeline. At the discretion of P.A.S. an extension may be granted or the project assigned to a different writer. Excessive missed timelines may result in a writer being dismissed from the writing team.
Communication
Active writers on the P.A.S. writing team must maintain open communication with the home office. This entails timely responses to email inquiries from support staff and editors. When a project assignment is distributed to a writer, acceptance must be confirmed via email within 24 hours. If acceptance from the writer is not received in the 24 hour timeframe, P.A.S. reserves the right to reassign the project to another writer.
Payment for Submissions
All payments to writers are processed via PayPal, no exceptions. Writers are paid weekly for work submitted that has been accepted by the client. If client requests revisions to submitted work, the writer will be given a 48 hour window to edit their copy and makes the requested changes. If the writer does not agree to revise their submission to the client's specifications, the submission is considered rejected and will not be paid for. Should a P.A.S. editor need to correct or rewrite all or some of a writer's submission, the payment due for that submission will be prorated by the percentage of revisions necessary for the work to be accepted by the client. Every writer who has submitted work and has an oustanding invoice will receive a weekly balance sheet listing projects submitted and payments due. Any discrepancies should be brought to our attention immediately so that we may review, identify and correct any errors.
Acknowledgement and Agreement
Acceptance of an assignment from Precise Authoring automatically indicates the writer's acknowledgement, understanding and agreement with all of the Terms and Conditions set forth above. In cases of disagreement or conflict, determinations made by the executives of Precise Authoring will be deemed as final resolution.
